After the successful completion of your studies, you can become a member of the Alumni Association of the Executive MBA HSG and its parent organization, HSG Alumni.


Network of 19,000 Alumni

While the Alumni Association of the Executive MBA HSG has more than 1,800 members, HSG Alumni has over 19,000 members. This provides you with a worldwide network of over 19,000 managers who remain committed to their Alma Mater. In this network, you can find renowned personalities such as Dr. Josef Ackermann (Chairman of the Board, Zurich Insurance Group), Dr. Paul Achleitner (Chairman of the Board, Deutsche Bank AG), Martin Blessing (Chairman of the Board, Commerzbank), Georg-Dieter von Holtzbrinck (Former Managing Director and Chairman, Georg von Holtzbrinck publishing group) and Dr. Roger Schawinski ( Journalist and former Managing Director, Sat 1, T V Channel).



The EMBA HSG Alumni regularly organize speaker events focusing on current topics. Furthermore, EMBA HSG Alumni have the opportunity to participate in seminars for continuing education as well as courses hosted by the Institutes of the University of St.Gallen.


Address Directory & Regular Publications

As a member of the EMBA HSG Alumni Network, you have access to the online address directory in which you can see contact information, employers, and the job statuses of fellow members. You will also receive a copy of "who is who", a print edition of the directory, as well as a quarterly magazine "Alma" and the EMBA HSG Alumni Newsletter, which contains information about current events, conferences, and projects at your Alma Mater.


Regional Networks

In addition to the Executive MBA and HSG alumni umbrella associations, there are many regional chapters and shared interest groups. The Executive MBA HSG has local alumni chapters in Basel, Bern, Zurich, and Eastern and Central Switzerland. The HSG Alumni has local chapters in Munich, Frankfurt, Berlin, Vienna, Rome, Madrid, Paris, and London in addition to many major cities throughout the world. Overall, there are around 100 clubs on four continents.
